WHAT IS EXPO 2020 DUBAI?

GETTING TO AND FROM EXPO 2020

Dubai Metro

This will be the most sustainable way to travel to the event with the earliest train scheduled to arrive at 6:15. Make your way to Mashreq Metro Station, which is 2 minutes away from the hotel, drop off at Jabal Ali Metro station and connect to the EXPO 2020 Metro line which will transport you to the EXPO 2020 Metro Station and lastly to the entrance of Expo 2020 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre and Al Wasl Gate. The whole trip will take you 47 minutes.

Expo rider buses

Get to and from Expo 2020 via a dedicated public bus service. It’s free for visitors and you can catch it from different locations in Dubai and other Emirates. The closest EXPO 2020 bus stop to Al Khoory Atrium Hotel is Dubai Mall. Please approach our reception team for the precise location and guidance.

Taxi and e-Hail

Dubai’s taxis and car hires are plentiful. Taxis can be booked by phone, but the simplest way is to download the RTA, Careem or Uber app. All taxi incur a AED 20 pick-up charge for trips starting at Expo. A taxi trip from Al Khoory Atrium Hotel directly to the entrance of Expo 2020 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre and Al Wasl Gate will be approximately 23 minutes.

Car

If you are driving to the Expo 2020 site, it is accessible from all major highways. Follow the signs for one of the designated parking. A drive from Al Khoory Atrium Hotel directly to the entrance of Expo 2020 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre and Al Wasl Gate will be approximately 23 minutes.

COVID19 MEASURES

We want to make sure that your visit is both enjoyable and safe. To ensure this, health and safety measures will be fully implemented across the Expo 2020 Dubai site.

• Please do not visit Expo 2020 if you are suffering from any health symptoms associated with COVID-19, if you have been in close contact with an individual confirmed as COVID-19 positive or are under any quarantine/self-quarantine orders.
• If you are vaccinated, you must present proof of at least one dose of any COVID vaccine recognized by any Expo 2020 participating country or the World Health Organization (WHO).
• If you are unvaccinated, you must present a negative PCR test certificate for a test conducted within the last 72 hours.
• Please take the PCR test at least one day before your visit to Expo as results will take up to 10 hours. You will not be allowed into the site without a negative PCR test result.
• Unvaccinated visitors who are over 18 and hold the following ticket types are eligible for a free PCR test at the DHA Expo 2020 Testing Facility:
• 1-Day Ticket – 1 free RT-PCR test
• Multi-Day Pass – maximum of 3 free RT-PCR tests
• The following visitors are not eligible for a free PCR test:
  • Visitors who are fully vaccinated or partially vaccinated (one dose)
  • Visitors with a Season Pass, including Jubilee Experience, Premium Experience and Family Package
